Siding, Fascia, and Soffit
Premium exterior maintenance services.
Most people understand what siding is and the purpose it serves as a barrier between the elements and a structure. Fascia and soffit are another story. Fascia and soffit make up the front and underside of the eave on a structure. An Eave is just a fancy word for the part of a roof that meets or overhangs the walls of a structure. Still with us? Okay, good. Buildings are constructed in a process that allows the materials to overlap as they transition, beginning with your roofs cap on the peak and ending at your foundation. In short, all of that is intended to make a watertight pathway for water, as it flows from your roof all the way to the ground. Fascia and or soffit are commonly ventilated and are a vital part of your roofing system. Picture yourself attempting to pour
gas out of a can that doesn’t have the valve plug open. The gas flow chokes and is interrupted. Your homes ventilation is no exception. Box vents and/or ridge vents are used in conjunction with soffit and/or fascia venting. Without them both, your homes exiting heat will also get interrupted, like the gas did. It all sounds confusing and we understand that. But there’s no need to worry because RoofTech Construction LLC has you covered! Our trained technicians are experts at diagnosing what a roofing system needs to function correctly and the subsequent installation.
